"VELED az ifjúságért" Kulturális és Hagyományőrző Egyesület
"VELED az ifjúságért" Kulturális és Hagyományőrző Egyesület has been operating as a court-registered non-governmental association since 19 April 2017. However, the history of the team does not begin here, but four years earlier, on November 11, 2013 when the out-of-school leisure activity called Népművészeti foglalkozás (Folk Art Occupation) was formed. The session has created and continues to provide an opportunity for local primary school children to get to know the traditions of Hungarian folk dance and folk song. After the initial low headcount, the occupation now operates with the active participation of nearly eighty children, and in the meantime they have also become school students. In 2016, young people started to gather around the children of the occupation, who, although not interested in preserving traditions, were happy to take part in organizing programs. In the spring of 2016, the team first announced its formation as a circle of friends and activities among local youth.
